Owned and operated by Sam Devine, Spiral Joinery is a Sunshine Coast-based joinery and carpentry company specializing in bespoke joinery and unique and crafted furniture, tailored to enhance and elevate every space.

With over 20 years of experience across carpentry, cabinet making, and fine joinery, Sam brings a depth of skill and passion to every project. Originally from Wagga Wagga, NSW, his journey began abroad in 1997, when he moved to London and worked on heritage-listed homes and century-old properties, collaborating closely with seasoned craftspeople and discovering his deep love for joinery.

Later relocating to Johannesburg, South Africa, Sam founded Samuel Devine Carpentry, which became one of the city’s most respected names in custom interiors. For two decades, the company served a discerning clientele across renovation and new-build projects—earning a reputation for exquisite workmanship and attention to detail.

Sam was also recognised for his expertise through guest speaker invitations at events such as the Homemakers Exhibition and the Woodworking Association.

Spiral Joinery is based in Rosemount on the Sunshine Coast.
